A great review of "Meth: The Immortal" #2!

8/21/2018

I've been hard at work on a documentary this summer so, unfortunately, work on Meth #3 and the third book in the Milligan Creek series, "The Water War," has been on hold. But that will change come September. Meanwhile, here is a review of Meth #2. A brief taste:
I love how Meth: The Immortal finds a good balance between silly jokes and a war-torn landscape. Politics aside, being subjected to a violent and unstable environment can have horrible side-effects and consequences. The characters in Meth: The Immortal have fun and humorous personalities which plays well against the dark backdrop.

"Meth: The Immortal" is Getting some Good Reviews!

The first is from Dave Stewart at World Comic Book Review, who thinks Methuselah would do well on Tinder. Go figure.

The second is from fellow prairie-born writer Andre Harden, whose thriller The Cuckoo House, was one of the best novels I read last year.

Get your copy today! Signed hard copies and Kindle version available in the store.

The First Issue of "Meth: The Immortal" is Finally Here!

I first got the ball rolling on this project two years ago, so I couldn't be more excited to announce that the first issue is finally here. Available in hard copy and Kindle format. I have worked hard to make this as affordable as possible, and the cheapest place to buy it is right here on my website. The hard copy is just $3.99, and the digital (Kindle) version is only $1.99. I will sign the first 100 hard copies I sell. You can also buy Meth on Amazon.com and Amazon.ca, but you will pay more.  Kierston and I are already hard at work on issue two, so you won't have to wait long for the next instalment. In the meantime, enjoy!

NOTE: This is a comic book, but that does not mean it is ideal for young children. Due to a bit of violence within its pages, it's recommended for readers ages 12 and up.

At long last, "Meth: The Immortal" is almost here!

It's been over a year in the making, so it's great to be finally just a couple of weeks away from releasing the first issue. I originally conceived this as a long-form graphic novel, but seeing as it's self-funded, I'm going to release it in instalments and then (hopefully) use the proceeds from each issue to fund the next. The first issue is 32 pages of fun, including 25 pages of story and 7 pages of bonus material.

What's the pitch? Methuselah, Meth for short, is a pig who accidentally gained immortality--and a whole lot more--back at the beginning of time, and he's been trying to figure out what to do with his special abilities ever since. All that is about to change.

I'll be releasing it digitally and in print. Recommended for ages 12 and up. Stay tuned!
