It was a lot of fun, especially the chance to connect by phone with Rick and Glenn Larson, the two guys who inspired the original idea for the book. Have listen here.

Meth: The Immortal #3 is on it's way!

1/26/2019

It's taken a lot longer than expected due to the film I'm working on right now as well the release of The Water War, my busy tour schedule, my work on book four in the Milligan Creek Series (The Great Grain Elevator Incident), and myriad other obligations and responsibilities. (It is ski season, you know.) At any rate, Kierston is hard at work on the artwork for issue three, which will be out in the first quarter of this year. Below is a sneak peak of a thumbnail sketch of a panel from p. 12. Expect adventure and mayhem on the high seas as well as a visit to my old stomping grounds, Mombasa, Kenya, where the mystery surrounding Meth's origin deepens far beyond anything he--or I, for that matter--ever suspected.

I'm going to be doing an interview on the morning show at 7:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29, in relation to The Water War. The person interviewing me is actually the sister of two of the guys whose antics back in the 1980s helped inspire the book. So, tune in to 540 AM to see what unfolds!

That's right, folks, at least according to the YouTube channel I Love Comics. And with over 10,000 subscribers, how could he be wrong? Check out the video below, where he gives Meth a rave. A fantastic surprise to stumble across this morning.

Another five-star review for "The Water War"

Wow, what a great surprise to find another five-star review of The Water War on Goodreads. And this one's a doozy! Here's an excerpt:
I think this is a great quality series (from a Canadian author!) that should be read to all children! Put this book in school libraries, use it for reading buddies, use it for library events and spread the word around! There are few books out there that have so much fun packed into one little book AND have a great theme.
