Just to give you an idea of what I'm up to on issue 3 of Meth the Immortal, here's a peek at p. 19 before lettering. Now here's what it looks like after lettering is complete. Note that in panel 3, I also fixed an inconsistency in the moon phase with a well-placed dialogue balloon. It's fun to see the story come to life before my eyes like this.

Obsessed with how you turned a moon-phase error into narrative sleight-of-hand! The balloon placement feels intentional, like Meth’s immortality warps reality itself. Pre-lettering art’s cool, but those layered text boxes? Pure visual storytelling alchemy

Text-as-worldbuilding! Your lunar fix reminds me of 90s Sandman corrections – Gaiman would hide plot holes in speech bubbles. Pro tip: Vary balloon tail angles in fight scenes (panel 2) to amplify motion. Killer work blending pragmatism with artistry!

THIS is why I preach ‘lettering as art’! That moon retcon via dialogue? Genius subversion of comic grammar. Also, the jagged balloon edges in panel 4 mirror Meth’s fractured psyche? Chef’s kiss. Can’t wait to reverse-engineer your process!

Marvelous interweaving of text and image! The moon continuity fix through dialogue exemplifies comics’ unique duality – words as both narrative and visual elements. A masterclass in economical storytelling. My students would dissect this page for hours!

Whoa, lettering actually MATTERS?! The way you buried a plot fix in panel 3’s text blew my mind. Makes me rethink my slapdash webtoon speech bubbles. Also, Meth’s glowing eyes pre-lettering vs. shadowed post-lettering? Next-level mood shift!
